Federal Grant Claiming and Reporting
PCG assists states with a variety of federal grant management services, including:
- Historic and monthly/quarterly on-going reconciliation of expenditures for the purposes of state and federal reporting;
- Development of supporting documentation, including expenditure reporting and tracking tools;
- Review of cash draw patterns and preparation of new draw requests;
- Development and maintenance of state and federal fiscal year targeted budget figures in accordance with state and federal policy;
- Review of all claiming practices to improve current operations and procedures;
- Assistance in preparation of all quarterly and annual federal reporting, including the ACF-696, ACF-272, ACF-196 and Catalogue of Federal Domestic Assistance (CFDA) Report;
- Assistance in annual state reporting;
- Assistance with quarterly claiming for such grants as Transition Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) and the Child Care and Development Fund (CCDF);
- Review of supporting documentation sources, state quality control functions, staffing patterns, and work processes.
Among our Projects:
For the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care, PCG successfully tracked and documented ten quarters of expenditures for federal reporting purposes, with supporting documentation totaling over $600 million.
