Description:

Public Consulting Group, Inc. is currently seeking a Title IV-E Eligibility Specialist to work in our Boston, MA office.  This position is responsible for determining Title IV-E Eligibility for children in the care of the state child welfare agency in accordance with state and federal guidelines. Title IV-E provides federal reimbursement to states for costs associated with children placed in out-of-home care. Title IV-E Specialists are responsible for the case evaluations that generate this revenue.

Responsibilities:

  • Review client records for information necessary to complete determinations.
  • Research federal policies and regulations related to federal revenue.
  • Provide information and technical assistance to social service office personnel on revenue management activity.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree is required.
  • Knowledge of child welfare systems or child welfare experience is a plus.
  • Must have own transportation for in-state travel and be willing to travel out of state occasionally.
  • Excellent organization skills and attention to detail.
  • Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Access, and database software is desirable.
  • Must have effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Able to prioritize responsibilities
  • Must be able to manage time efficiently and be able to work independently.
